This year we were invited to the Day of The Dead Ball being held at The Trust!

An event celebrating the Mexican tradition where family and friends gather to pray for and remember loved ones who have passed away.

This all day event is great fun for the family as well as for the adults. They had face painters, Mexican food stalls, traditional mariachi bands earlier in the day and DJ’s in the evening. There were 1800 tequila based cocktails and flavoured tequila shots which were delicious!

The concept overall was fabulous unfortunately The Trust did not pull it off well.

The venue was too small and very hard to get around. At times it took up to 45 minutes to get a drink due to the under staffing at the bar. We believe they underestimated what was needed for the amount of tickets sold.

Overall it was a fun night for us, just rather disappointed in The Trust’s organization of the evening.
