Mahatma Gandhi, as you know, walked barefoot most of the time, Which produced an impressive set of calluses on his feet. He also ate very little, which made him rather frail and with his odd diet, He suffered from bad breath.
This made him (Oh, man, this is so bad, it's good) .. A super-calloused fragile mystic hexed by halitosis
The Bramble, circa 1984, is a very simple classic cocktail that is rather visually impressive. Traditionally garnished with a lemon wedge. Today with fresh berries. Very refreshing on a warm summer day.
Bramble
60ml Gin
30ml Lemon Juice
15ml Sugar Syrup
15ml Massenez Creme de Mure
Garnish: Lemon Wedge or fresh berries
Add gin, juice and syrup to a shaker with ice and shake. Strain into a short tumbler with ice. Drizzle the creme de mure over the top and garnish with lemon or fresh berries.
Tip: Use a tablespoon measuring spoon to drizzle with instead of straight from the bottle or measurer.
